Louís Martín Serrano the Second and his wife, Antonia de Miranda, had these children, as well as they can be distinguished and sorted out: Luis III (not heard of again after the Reconquest), Domingo (?), Antonio, Francisco, María, wife of Antonio Luján, and María Rosa, married to Nicolás López.

Louís Martín Serrano the Second, husband of Antonia de Miranda, gave his age as 50 in 1681 and 60 in 1689 [DM, 1681, no. 6; 1689, no. 5]. Some children by this wife were Antonio, Hernando, Francisco, Cristóbal, and María, who were suing the children by a second wife in 1711 at Santa Cruz. Another daughter was Antonia, who had married Juan Roque Gutiérrez on Feb. 18, 1692 [DM, 1690, no. 4]. María, widowed of Antonio Luján, married Domingo de Herrera in 1683 [DM, 1683, no. 1].

Luis' second wife was Melchora de los Reyes (González?), by whom he had a daughter, Polonia, who married Domingo Laureano (Gómez) in 1722 [DM, 1722, no. 5], and a son, Diego, who married Josefa de Torres in 1716, by whom he had a son, Nicolás, Nov. 3, 1721 [DM, 1716, no. 21; Gen., 1721, no. 5]. Children of this second marriage mentioned in the 1711 suit were Rosa and Catalina [loc. cit.]. Rosa was the wife of Nicolás López, while Catalina married Alonso Fernández in 1695 [DM, 1695, no. 19. A son, Manuel, married María Josefa de la Candelaria Montaño in Santa Fe, Aug. 25, 1730 [DM, 1730, no. 3].

Luis Martín Serrano son of Luis the elder was listed as Mestizo and was born in la Cañda, New Mexico. He is described as "slender with swarthy complexion, black hair and beard, and a mole on his left check." His firs wife was Antonia de Miranda, a Castiza born at la Cañada liker her husband. She was dead by 1683. Luis's second wife was Melchora de los Reyes, born in New Mexico.
