Sir John Beauchamp, Knight, son and heir of Sir John Beauchamp, knight, by perhaps Sir John the elder's first wife, Joan, was born in 1315 and died 8 Apr. 1349. He was lord of Ryme, Dorset & of Oburnford, Oulescomebe, Teighneervy & Buckerell, co. Devon. Sir John married in about 1340 Margaret Whalesburgh, daughter of John Walesburgh.

      Teynghervy. John Beauchamp of Ryme, knight, lately deceased, father of John Beauchamp of Ryme, who held of the kind in chief by knight's service, held the manor Teynghervy of Nicholas Martyn by service of a fourth part of a knight's fee and gave it to Richard de Beauchamp for life. Afterwards John de Beauchamp, knight died, and after him the said Richard de Beauchamp died, so the manor descended to John de Beauchamp, as son and hier of John Beauchamp, knight. This John the son died, and then the manor descended to on Thomas de Beauchamp his brother and heir. The said Thomas is now in the king's wardship.

      Richard de Beauchamp died on 3 May 24 Edw. III. The said Thomas, aged 2½
