Between this Nicholaus and Marice Lord Berkeley the second of that name arose suits in the lawe for services which that Lord required of him out of his foresayd Manors of Hull and Nymesfeild to his lawe days at Berkeley which were ended by composition, as amonst the lawe suits of that lord appeareth. This Nicholas had to wife Sibill heirs to the Manor of Elmore and dyed in the six and fortieth yeare of Henry the third, Anno. 1261 leaving issue Raph."
