Willa d'Arles was the daughter of Boso Marchese of Tuscany and his wife Willa. Willa married Berengario II King of Italy. " 'Bertam, Willam, Richildam et Gislam' are named (in order) as the four daughters of Boso and Willa by Liudprand [Liudprandi Antapodosis IV.10, MGH SS III, p. 318]. Willa is named "rex Hugo neptim suam…ex Willa uxore sua Boso Tuscić provincić marchio regis frater" by Liudprand when he records her marriage to Berengario [Liudprandi Antapodosis IV.7, MGH SS III, p. 317]. Regino records that Willa became a nun after her husband died before he was buried [Reginonis Chronicon 966, MGH SS I, p. 628]."
